The history behind Maple & Jack Florist.
Coming from a humble coastal town in the south east of England training at college at the age of 16, floristry engaged my interest pretty much from the start. Always having a creative mind, being arty at school I think it was the duck to water affect.
Working for and with some truly amazing florists which has developed and expanded my skills in the process meeting some special people along the way.
Passionate about anything floral, my organic, naturalistic style oozes style and quality.
A few years ago I met my husband from across the ocean here in Cape Breton. Wanting a brand that combines both British and Canadian cultures yet being eye-catching and unique. This is where Maple & Jack Florist was born. With a common tie being the crown/commonwealth and linking both our beautiful countries together...for Canada we have the maple leaf whilst for The UK we have The Union Jack.
Offering floral designs in all aspects of floristry from funerals to hand-tied bouquets all using the finest quality flowers and foliage made by love and attention to detail.
